Bamboo the fondation of chinese painting

Painting bamboo is a first lesson in chinese painting.
It is the first moment your acquaintanceship with maobi, chinese ink, and rice paper.
At first ...like my first experience too...you might be a little shocked since the character of rice paper is very fragile, and is easily get torn.
The second first moment how to control the composition of water and Chinese ink.
But after trough that all experience, you must be feel very proud with your first bamboo leaf.
But don't satisfied that fast...other lesson is how to get combine that bamboo leaf with other bamboo leaf.
Start from ..
2 pieces of bamboo leaf

4  pieces of bamboo leaf
8 pieces of bamboo leaf and after that a bunch of bamboo leaf...
After that the other pleasure come when you are learning the stroke off bamboo stick.
Actually it is an exciting experience. Since the stroke should be strong but smooth enough at once

Even bamboo is a basic of chinese painting lesson, but it doesn't mean its the easiest one.
However its the importance one. Because like its philosophy, you have to built the strong root to have a good fondation.

Mastering bamboo stroke is very importance to mastering another stroke.
